Circle of Security

Parenting can be tough, but you don’t have to figure it out alone! This eight-week program uses videos and group discussions to help parents and caregivers better understand their child’s emotions and needs. You’ll learn ways to strengthen your child’s self-esteem, build a secure attachment, and create a positive, supportive home environment. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with other parents and caregivers in your community who are on the same journey.

Rural Response for Healthy Children provides this program regularly throughout the year in different locations across Huron and Perth County, and online.

Registration for our virtual winter sessions are closed, sign up for our mailing list to be notified of the next round of programming:

In the Classroom

Circle of Security: In the Classroom is a professional development opportunity intended for teachers, educational assistants, support staff, EarlyON staff, and others who work in child education settings.

This is an 8-week long video-based self-reflection program to help facilitate a positive, supportive classroom environment. Each weekly session is approximately one-hour long. Participants will learn how to promote secure relationships within the school setting, how student behaviour relates to attachment needs, and how to implement this framework in their classrooms.
